It seems to me like they're going through a trial and error moment in their relationship, maybe took the next step in their connection and they're figuring out what's the best way to move forward. They seem to deal with issues in different ways, he seems to go more inward and spend time by himself looking through options, and she likes to go out with friends, solve them by talking to them and asking for opinions. Are they having a baby and they're having to find the middle ground between their careers, their romantic connection and their life as a family?

I do think he wants to but when the time and he is ready. He seems to be struggling to keep everything afloat and give his art the effort and time it deserves. Like he wants to put out an album and perform/promote it but if he doesn't have the time and somehow resources? there seems to be also a money thing that's making him not release anything, but if he doesn't have either how will he enjoy it. Because he does look like the type of person who enjoys putting out his music and doesn't just release for the sake of doing so.

Beats lurch and snap, sometimes barely holding together, which mirrors the emotional state being described. There is little interest in polish. Disorder becomes part of the message.
