7 weeks into this slow cut. Eating 2700 calorie a day. Same lifting routine. Each part twice a week with 5 training days. 45 mins of cardio 5x a week. Down 9lbs and lifts/volume are still consistent with peak weight. Eating around 260 grams of protein, 250 grams of carbs, and 70grams of fat a day. Fwiw, I'm never particularly hungry. Biggest complaint is that I'm a bit flat, but I think thats to do with nutrient timing. Anyways the point is, that you don't have to starve to lose weight. I eat pretty clean, and I KNOW what I'm eating and can adjust to indulge in about whatever I want. Just like anything else, it just takes discipline.
