A few yew textures. I took the first two of these photos some years ago. Drawn to the deep greens and delicate red aril. Long before I learned that all parts of the yew are poisonous except the red aril itself. There have been recent cases of poisoning by eating yew branches or brewing tea with the needles. Also of course don’t forget the slips of yew Macbeth used to concoct the poisonous brew in Shakespeare’s tale. Read more in the latest @ernestjournal journal.
