Goal for January: Finish the pattern for this slipover and send it my tech editor, so that I can call for testers in the first half of February. 🤞 If you know someone who might like to knit this slipover, please share this post with them, so that they have a chance to finish current wips and / or choose a yarn for this project. I used Rauma Finull and I highly recommend it! It is a wonderful rustic 100% woollen yarn that has a beautiful depth in its color. I enjoyed working with it very much. If you have seen my latest, festive YouTube video, you already know that I finally finished my slipover. Yay! 🙌 After I had first experimented with two welts around the armhole, I decided to go with an i-cord edge in the end. And I am so happy with it. In the picture above you can see both armhole finishing versions in direct comparism. By now I have ribbed the welts back and worked the i-cord on both sides. This slipover still needs a name. While I made it, I thought of it as a piece of armor shielding me from the cold. Do you have any name suggestions? I hope to get some worn pictures soon - so stay tuned.
