So imagine Bristlehound and Dum-Dum one evening atop their houseboat at anchor on some island in the Upper Mississippi River, with sunset approaching

At any rate, Dum-Dum procures wraps for both our intrepid houseboaters to sleep off the night ahead as here, making sure the chairs aren't likely to somehow fall off the roof and into the river all of a sudden, mainly by the wake of a barge tow passing in the night.]
