My third book reccomendation is The Girl with the Red Balloon by @bibliogato 📖 This is a YA novel, part fantasy and part historical fiction. Ellie grabs hold of a red balloon and finds herself transported to 1988 East Berlin. My second book reccomendation is The Last Cherry Blossom by @kathleenburkinshaw 🌸 Here's my version of her gorgeous cover. I read this book in one sitting! It's a Middle Grade novel about a young Japanese girl living in Hiroshima when the bomb hits. It was lovely and devastating. I'm starting a new series of rock paintings where I take quotes or images from my favorite books, paint them, and then leave them somewhere readers might frequent. This was such a fun read and I'm quite eager to start the sequel.
