I find it interesting that Brain, Slappy, and Yakko are all snarky characters, but they exhibit different flavors of it.
Yakko's has more of the aggressive "get a load of this guy" energy, Brain has a disdainful "I'm surrounded by idiots" attitude, and Slappy has the acerbic "I'm too old for this shit" mood.
Slappy Squirrel's my favorite Animaniacs character after the Warner Trio. She's basically the fusion of Bugs Bunny and Maxine and I love her for it.
