Thought following one of the posts I just reblogged about the nebulous concept of “the revolution”:
A coworker told me he didn’t vote because both sides were bad. I replied and explained what harm reduction is. He responded that he was waiting for the revolution.
“What are you doing to bring the revolution?” I asked.
He couldn’t answer me, because the answer was nothing. He could feel like an activist, somehow more enlightened than the people who voted, while doing nothing. He felt like he was doing something by doing absolutely nothing.
You want the revolution?
Yeah?
