Pirate Sierra has arrived. She'll be living on B.O.A.T., her free boat she gets from being a pirate. She works part time at wall market.
Hello, hello~ Everyone, please follow Sierra!
05. â alarm
â˘The incessant beeping of her alarm put an abrupt stop to her dream. It was a good dream too. Well, it was, at first. How the dream began, Andrea couldnât remember. What she did remember was sailing the high seas on her very own ship that she was the captain of. She had her own crew as well. Everything was picturesque. That is, until her former captain (in real life) showed up. Letâs just say everything went downhill from there. For once, she was glad to be woken up by her alarm clock.Â
23. â breaking the rules
(Also asked by andrea)
Rachel used to be terrified of breaking school rules when she was in elementary and middle school. When she got into high school, though, she got more adventurous and would break a few rules here and there if it meant she could have some fun and make some memories with her friends. Usually, it meant piling all of her dance team friends into a seniorâs car during lunch to go get food.Â
A Fox in the Henhouse
Vaughn was not sleeping.
By all rights he should have been, the break of dawn having yet to paint the stark walls of his bedroom with warm morning light, the birds outside his window silent... except for the chickens. At a distance too great to be heard from indoors, if not for the fact that he liked to keep his window cracked at night, they clucked and crowed in raucous distress, rousing the man from his slumber.
With the rumbling cough of a smoker, he slipped from the sheets, rising to step back into the jeans he had discarded on the floor the night before. His short-lived attempt at quitting had failed miserably, with the emotional stressors that had recently entered his life, and he stuffed a lighter and the pack of the day into his back pocket, figuring he would use the opportunity to smoke once he took care of whatever had gotten into the coop. Stepping barefoot into his boots at the back door and lifting a length of weighted rope from the coat rack over his shoulder, he left the house and headed at a reasonably brisk pace in the direction of the ruckus.
Assuming the offender was nothing more than a fox or raccoon that could be chased off or relocated with no harm to either it, or the chickens-- they didnât see much of the islandâs monsters around those parts-- Vaughn was rightly startled when, not more than ten feet from the coop, the door and gate to the run both burst open in rapid succession, a figure cloaked in shadow, unmistakably human, escaping with the notoriously pissy rooster hot on their heels. Hens spilled from the enclosure in their wake, but rounding them back up again would have to wait-- he had a thief to catch.
Taking off at a sprint after them, Vaughn slid the lasso from his bare shoulder, whipping it in a tight circle and working it high over his head with the ease of experience before letting loose, roping the culprit by one of their long legs. After a sharp jerk on it to cinch the loop, they crashed into the dirt, and was immediately assaulted by the indignant rooster-- aptly named Asshole-- his spurs brandished with murderous intent. Luckily for both his victim and Vaughn, who had to fight the damn bird off every time he drew the figurative, and occasionally literal short straw and was forced to collect eggs, he knew how to chase him off. For the most part.
With a shout to go on, get, waving the arm that didnât grip the rope wildly in his direction, the rooster was eventually dissuaded from sating his bloodlust, holding his longtime nemesis with one beady, moonlit eye that promised retribution in the morning as he strutted back toward his flustered brood. With a derisive click of his tongue, Vaughn turned his attention back toward the person at his feet-- a man, he assumed, from their size-- kicking at the bottom of the shoe he had noosed to rile them into turning over and giving him a good look at their face.
âGet the hell up.â

đ - How does your muse handle their emotions? Do they bottle them up or pour them out as soon as they start to feel?
âI like to think I have a healthy grasp on my emotions,â Trent said. But his smile turned... somewhat rueful as he thought about it. âIâm not especially open about them, but I think thatâs more a lack of people to talk to, than it is deliberately hiding. After all, itâs not really hiding if itâs simply no oneâs looking.â Right?
10. â souvenir
âHaha, geez Pops, you brought too much back this time!â Luke laughed as his father unloaded his bag of various toys and clothing items heâd gathered up for his grandchildren while on his vacation travels. âMia and Leo are gonna be decked out in stuff from-- Wait, where did you go this time?â
The Captainâs Kindness [Karen & Sierra]
@slackoffandplayâ
Karen had always been soft for those in hard times. Sheâd been there herself, at one time, and if it hadnât been for her crew, she may not have pulled through as well as she did. So it was only natural that Sierra caught Karenâs eye. They met through a shared part-time job at Wall Market, and Karen liked to think the two were at least somewhat on the way to friends.
Hopefully that would make this conversation a little less awkward.
âSo, Sierra... You said you were homeless, yeah?â
