I remember a conversation when i took an internship. Me and my friend were eating lunch in the studio when i apologized if i had mood swing that day because of my period. Fortunately, i didn’t have bad cramps, but my body was so stiff and weary, it was upsetting but my mood was affected by it. No, i didn’t yell or cry, i just had this absent-minded state and my seniors told me that i looked tired.
After i said that, my friend said that i just defending myself and he said females were using ‘i’m in my period’ so often to defend their acts, whether they were angry, crying or yelling ‘without reasons’.
I said, “but you don’t know how much cramps could hurt.”
He replied, “yeah, and you don’t know how hurt we are when we got our ‘junior’ accidentally zipped by the pants’ zipper.”
I was tired and didn’t really have the energy or mood to argue with him.
I just hope that he wouldn’t get his ‘junior’ accidentally zipped by his pants’ zipper every month.
