    Honestly, I’d completely stumbled upon the flyer hanging outside the A-Team building. I’d just been handed a card for a new company to audition at maybe a day or so ago, so I hadn’t even made it there yet. Sure it had been a couple months since I left J.Tune, and I refused to head back to Daegu to be with my aunt. I couldn’t do that to her again. Besides, it wasn’t the first time…anyway I figured why not? Let’s check out what it could be they were auditioning for. So I stepped into the lobby area and walked straight up to the desk with a flyer in my hand.

    They didn’t even give me the time of day before they pointed down the hall to a door that had the same flyer on it. “That’s the room you’ll be in with the other participants. Bathroom is directly across from us if you’d like to wash up beforehand.” They’d said quickly but as nice as possible.

    I quickly stepped into the bathroom and immediately turned on the sink, setting my backpack down on the ground. I washed myself up, brushed my teeth  and sprayed a tiny bit of perfume on my shirt and pants and then stepped out of the bathroom feeling like a fresh and new person. “Alright. Let’s kill it.” I whispered to myself with a tiny smirk, rubbing my hands together.

    The moment I stepped into the room, I saw a group of 10 guys staring at me in surprise. “Ah, our newest arrival I presume? Here for the dance audition?” Another person from across the room asked.

    I gave a small grin and nodded my head. “Ye! Thank you for allowing me to audition!” I said energetically.

    There was an awkward glance to everyone and someone tilted their head at me. “You know you’re an hour late right?” He asked bluntly, immediately getting elbowed in the side by someone else who was glaring at the first guy.

    I blinked and felt the smile slowly slip from my face, tilting my head in confusion. “A-Ah, am I? I’m sorry then for coming too late. I was just hoping to audition. I’d really like to try if you would give me a chance.” I replied softly, giving a small bow afterward.

    The choreographer glanced down at his clipboard and gave a tiny sigh. “Well I don’t see why not. We do need another dancer anyway. Let’s see what you’ve prepared.” He said, with a grimace of a smile.

    I nodded my head and set my stuff down by the door, immediately setting everything up for myself for the demonstration. It didn’t take long before I was taking over the studio in a practiced number I perfected when I was still at J.Tune. I honestly don’t even remember finishing the number before the choreographer had rushed out of the room with what looked to be 5 page of notes? Someone was watching me in intrigue, probably questioning himself on what I was doing and why I was even in their studio.

    “Well I’m impressed. She’s better than half the girls that came in. And the rest of the girls are way too expensive for us to consider right now. I’m sure everyone can come up with a good compromise, especially because she’s in between companies at the moment. I think the only concern is that she seems to not have a place to stay.” The choreographer mentioned to the board, looking through all the notes he had on me.

    I was busy walking around in the hallway, waiting for their final decision about whether or not I could join their backup dancer squad. And if I could, I’d have a place to stay until I was able to look further into the new company I had the business card for. Seriously, who was WJE? Not even Jay had heard of them, and he was in the process of making his own company with Simon! I puffed out a breath of air as I let my thoughts wander, to the point I didn’t see someone jump in front of me and grin wide.

    I blinked at the excited guy in front of me. “Yoooo.” I mumbled, giving him a halfhearted salute.

    He grinned and grabbed my hand to shake. “Ayyyy! Where’d you learn to dance like that? That’s crazy! I’m Ziu!” He all but yelled at me, earning a small concerned look from me.

    “I-I’m..uh…Skylar. Or I guess you can call my Haneul. I used to train under J.Tune.” I said softly, shrugging my shoulders in the end while shaking his hand in response.

    “That really was some awesome dancing. I get the feeling we’re going to be seeing a lot more of you from now on.” A deeper voice mentioned from the rest of the guys standing further back.

    I blinked a few different times and went to say something, going as far as to open and close my mouth a couple times while feeling my face heat up just a bit. “U-Uhmm…i…you-you know it!” I stuttered out, pumping the air a little and accidentally hitting  Ziu.

    The guy pouted at me. “You didn’t have to hit meeeee.” He whined, hitting me back.

    I grinned then, the first real smile in quite a while and ruffled his hair. “I get the feeling I’ll be around too. And bro, pouting doesn’t look good on you.” I replied, loud enough for the rest of the guys to hear me.

    Without thinking about it, I winked at the guy who sounded like the leader and then looked over at the door where a group of men stared at me, looking me over with scrutiny. “Okay, if you’d follow us into this office please. Let’s discuss your future with us.” The man suggested, allowing me through first.
