Clearly, I have not answered my asks for a while or posted on my blog. The Summer got busy. I went on so many small trips that added up to a lot of adventures. I had to work in between.
Iâm sorry Iâve been away so long. I did decide to take a break for a few reasons but I didnât intend for it to be that long.
Iâll tell you a funny beach story. As a photographer, any beach I go to I become fast friends with the surfers and skim boarders. I get a lot of pics of them. I like having something interesting to shoot and they usually like the attention. Anyway, this one day Iâm getting shots. Thereâs a family eating a watermelon on the beach. Itâs cut in half. Iâm like, âThat looks like a helmetâ. My friend says, âDare me to ask if I can have it when theyâre done? Iâll wear it while I ride waves.â I was like âBetâ and he does it. All during golden hour as the sun sets the skim guys are riding waves with the watermelon helmet on. Shouting âWatermelloooooooon!â đ
