Have you ever been assigned as the captain of a sports team in high-school? Or have you ever been made the prefect of your class? If you have, you were probably chosen because of the leadership skills that you possess.

 A good leader is capable of successfully motivating a group of people to act toward achieving a goal. He, she or they are specifically keen in tackling challenges, thinking critically and solving problems promptly. The following are some skills that every great leader should possess:

 1: Time Management 

 In order to maintain maximum productivity at a workplace- a leader must know how to control the amount of time that is being spent on specific activities. Hence, time wastage should be avoided.

 2: Communication

 A leader should be able to properly communicate with colleagues and staff verbally or non-verbally. You, as a leader, have to make sure that all the individuals that you are working with are constantly exchanging information amongst each other.

 3: Influence

 People working under you should feel the need to listen to what you have to say. Furthermore, they should follow all your instructions without you having to explain too much to them. Being a leader- you should always be smart in choosing your words while speaking, and be precise and to-the-point. Thus, you can easily get people to work efficiently.

 4: Courage

 Nobody is fearless. Every person feels fear. But only a true leader has the courage to face their fear. Sometimes even when the chances of success seem low, always break through from the fear of failure and try to think positively. Those who fail to be courageous end up with less opportunities- which may have opened new unexpected doors.
