It really breaks my heart that Mikaela started off the season with an injury, fought her way back just in time for the first slalom of the season, got sick and had to sit out races, had to watch the love of her life crash, be airlifted, and potentially lose the ability to ever be able to ski again, come back to win the next race 48h later and then crash herself and get seriously injured 2 weeks late and come back once again to win the two races she was able to compete in. And in the last days of that horrendous season, three former ski racers decided to be petty and disrespectful towards her on (social) media when she has done absolutely nothing but shown them the utmost respect and support throughout her career.
Props to the kid who passed me on the moguls that had his mitten off so he could pick his nose
