Because he doesn’t know how an extra pair of legs work xDDD

Mildred hurls a fire bolt at the skeletaur from her hiding spot behind her riding lizard, but it misses. Lenora moves to Peanut's aid, and whacks the remaining gnolbie with her flail.

Snow attacks the skeletaur and hits him with two great blows from her sword. Ceridwen attacks as well with bites and claws, and T'odd hurls a chromatic orb of flame at the skeletaur, giving Coll an Inspiring Word.

The skeletaur collapses in flames. Coll races over to Peanut, and finishes off the final gnolbie.

The party searches for the riding lizards that had run off (Sneaky Pete and Angelcakes), and find a centaur holding the reins a little down the road. He asks if the party is all right, and Ceridwen introduces herself and the rest of the party.

He explains that the gnolbies weren't witherlings. Witherlings are the revered dead, these gnolls had their teeth yanked and were killed and reraised roughly. There's some city folk who have come out in the past month or so and been raising lots of dead.

The party rests for about an hour, getting everything back together while T'odd plays songs of rest. They notice that one of the casks of water has sprung a small leak, but Ceridwen casts mend upon it and repairs it.

After their rest, the party soon arrives at Principe diMedani, the capital of Moremeddan. It's a crowded city with a tall stone wall all around it. The gates are painted with a red diMedani crest. The houses have charms hung by their doors.

Mildred casts mage armor on herself then reaches out to grab onto one of the skeletaurs with a shocking grasp, then jumps down from the cart. One of the skeletaurs swings at her and catches her mid leap with his axe for 12 damage, but is caught in a wash of flame from her hellish rebuke.

With a pair of blows, Lenora crunches a gnolbie with her flail. Snow smashes one of the gnolbie with another pair of blows, dropping him, then rushes over to confront the skeletaurs.

One of the gnolbies claws at Ceridwen's bear shape. Ceridwen claws it back, knocking it out of the fight.

T'odd creeps under the cart and hits one of the skeletaurs with his scimitar, then creeps back to hide under one of the lizards.

Peanut bites one of the gnolbies, emitting a yell afterwards in disgust at the taste. Coll takes advantage of the gnolbie's distraction to hit it three times with his glaive, dropping it with the aid of Moridin's blessing.

Noz casts scorching ray to send three beams of fire across the field, singing one of the skeletaurs and sending a gnolbie up in a pillar of smoke.

One of the skeletaurs attempts to gore Snow but she dodges out of the way. The remaining gnolbie by Coll bites at him, but its teeth clatter on his armor. One of the riding lizards, Crumpet, moves to Snow's aid and bites the skeletaur by her.

The othere skeletaur slashes Mildred with his axe, then backs up, preparing to ram her.

The remaining gnolbie by Ceridwen claws her bear shape, paralyzing her with the poison they carry.

The gnolbie by Lenora catches her with its claws but she manages to maintain her concentration on Moradin's blessing. The gnolbie gets caught in a blast of flame from her hellish rebuke, and drops to the ground as ashes.

Lenora's steed Regulus rides to Mildred's side, and attempts a kick at the skeletaur by Snow, but misses.

Mildred dismounts and retreats behind Regulus and casts a firebolt at one of the skeletaurs. Lenora and Snow follow up with a pair of blows, crumbling it to bits, and Snow runs up to Ceridwen's side and transfixes the gnolbie by her with a javelin.

T'odd casts cure wounds to grant Ceridwen back 8 hit points and then gives Coll some bardic inspiration. Coll trips the gnolbie next to him then charges over toward the remaining skeletaur shouting "Come on if you think you're hard enough!"

Noz fire bolts the gnolbie by Ceridwen, reducing it to ash.

The gnolbie by Peanut stands up and catches her with its claws, and she drops to the ground, paralyzed.
