Skektember Day 4

Ritual of the Self:

SkekSa the Mariner had, indeed, devoted her life to the high seas and conquering the oceans of Thra, but when there are those moments. Those rare and precious moments where she can just let her duties as a Lord of the Crystal pass over and just reflect on her mind. Those are what makes her title as Mariner worth her time. Whenever she is able to, SkekSa decides to take some advice from her Mystic counterpart and swim within the oceans of Thra. Letting the coolness of the water pass over her body as she gives herself the time she needs to relax and rejuvenate herself. A truly rare self ritual that could even make SkekZok envy such a rite.

SkekTember, day 3 : The one they look up to.

The Illustrator, with her limping gait and her aching bones, couldn't but admire and secretly envy the adventurous and brave Captain. SkekSa could do so many things she wouldn't; not even in her wildest dreams!

Bold, strong, ellegant and proud, the Captain was everything skekLa wished she could have been.

(This is my personal design for skekSa: a mix of her book descriptions and her old original design from Legends of The Dark Crystal. A little less fluffy, sporting a dark mane and wearing a barnacle-encrusted carapace on her back. What do you think of her looks here? )

A few months back I decided to make my sister a figurine of one of her favorite characters, SkekSa from The Dark Crystal franchise! It's been a while and she is not done yet because I keep having to take health breaks, but I still want to share some progress so far!
