Many things would cross the gunslinger’s mind as she tried to make her way through the bustling city, not wanting to grab too much attention. But something was going to go down here, she just had the feeling within her gut. What was it though? She wasn’t sure. But rumors had been flying in the air that a specific group was manning a specific something in this very city and make sure that all saw it, which really? Jesse couldn’t let that happen.

So now, here she was, keeping her head low and her hat down over her eyes, her serape hung heavy across her shoulders. Her brown eyes lifted up though with seeing something pass her vision, someone that seemed...familiar.

Ignoring her gut feeling that something was amiss, she slowly followed what she saw. Or specifically....

     Slowly, Milo glanced up, trying desperately to focus on the person before her. She hadn’t realized just how long she had been slumped against the building wall, recovering from her last mission. Dried blood was splattered across her face, fists, and clothes. Things hadn’t gone as planned and she was forced to use her hand to hand combat skills to finish off her opponent before leaving him for the pickup crew to get him and his defeated men. Exhausted, she had taken a seat and dozed off long enough for the street lights to be humming loudly overhead. 

“What is done in the name of science requires some sacrifices. Nothing is furthered if something does not die.”A muffled cough followed his words, before going to speak once more.

     Misfortune after misfortune had put a bit of a damper on Milo’s mood, leaving her a bit more cynical than usual. She pulled the blood-stained towel off her face before reaching up to touch the scratch on the left side of her forehead, hissing under her breath as it stung. Her mix-matched eyes shifted to Six, a smile starting to play at her lips.
