“I had to have you as my model.”
"Minhyuk, I'm here!" You called out to your best friend, stepping out of your shoes. "In the living room!" You walked through his apartment, ducking the canvases and easels. "I'm glad you're here~," He said cheerfully, motioning for you to come closer. "I need your help with something." You shifted your weight onto your right leg and rose an eyebrow. "Minhyuk, I'm not cleaning your kitchen again nor am I washin' those stains out of your she-" He shook his head, interrupting your sentence. "No, no! Not that. I need help with a project that I'm entering in a contest." He wiped the paint off of his hands. "I'm listening, go on." You urged him to continue. "I need a model." You gave him a confused look. "I have a friend that might be able to do it, he's good looking, I'm sure he'd be willing." He rolled his eyes and pointed at you. "No, I need you to be my model." You froze, looking at his face to see if he were joking, but nope. He was dead serious. "Minhyuk, do I look like a model to you?" You asked him, watching him set up. "Yes, yes you do." You felt your face heating up. "I'm not a model, Minhyuk. You can get another one of your friends to do it, or like I said, I have a friend that would be willing." You refused, taking the messy apron he had on and grabbing another. "When's the last time you did your laundry?" You asked him, and he shrugged, looking at you carefully. "I'll do it." He sighed and nodded. His apartment was fairly open, so while you did the laundry he could still see you from where he stood. Then the light bulb went off in his head. He grinned mischievously and got to work. By the time you finished laundry and washing the dishes, he was halfway done. "Hey, come here. I need to show you something gorgeous." You walked over to him slowly. "What is it?" He turned the easel around, much to your surprise it was you, holding a laundry basket. "I decided I didn't need you to be sitting still to get a perfect picture. This worked just fine." He was smiling brightly and you were speechless. "What's this contest about?" You asked, still observing the picture. "You're supposed to draw someone very important to you. That's why I couldn't have some random person I didn't know. I had to have you as my model."
