I think especially since there’s a sort of mystical allure to Dragonstone and its mist shores, I think it’d be quite fitting.

Aerion as a siren luring men into the dark, depthless ocean - a legend they never speak aloud - always muttered quietly between sailors - talk of pale skin and even paler hair, pearlescent, like spools of silk in the midnight blue of the water. They’d whisper about violet eyes - like glowing gems and a voice even more enchanting. There would be talk of men wondering into out towards the shores of Dragonstone and never returning. (I’m not sure what colour his tail would be - maybe pale - almost like Arrax’s scales in season 1 of HOTD?)

Valarr would obviously be the prince of Dragonstone and like inquisitive about the tales - maybe he’d go out and try and find this deadly beauty he’s heard through the walls of the fortress?

I think I just love the idea of Aerion as this breathtakingly beautiful creature that’s just incredibly vicious by nature - I like the dichotomy of the both being central to his character. And then Aerion would also be intrigued by Valarr - they’d be mutually obsessed - Valarr because obviously, how could he not be - just look at Aerion (Valarr would cut out his own heart for him if he asked) and maybe for Aerion it’s the fact that Valarr has features that link him to old Valyria (the white streak in his hair, his eyes, maybe even something in his presence gives off the sense of a long-forgotten power) - also I just love the idea that something more than dragons made it across before the doom.

Sorry the idea has been plaguing my mind and I needed to get it out!

Also chapter 7 of Kaerinnon was delicious - the angst of it all - my cute little babies, especially Valarr (Maekar is such an evil little hater - just because you’re not happy doesn’t give you the right to be mean)! Love daddy Baelor coming because Aerion asked - that’s his evil little labubu and he loves him.

(Also I am officially naming my first born Jude - there is nothing my man can’t do! I’m genuinely loosing my mind wherever we play! I just hope we can defeat the great evil (Argentina) and then I’ll be happy. And then in the final - may the sexiest team (us) win!)

oooooo I love this idea so much so much bc LETS IMAGINE (I say this all the time I’ve just clocked)

Valarr is struggling with being prince of Dragonstone. He feels alone, finds ruling hard, no one seems to want to know him or understand him, he’s being forced to marry when it is not for love and he’s constantly reminded of how un-Targaryen he is, how he looks nothing like the tales of Old Valyria

then he hears tales of this siren on the shores and how it’s the epitome of Old Valyria and he’s sort of jealous (and annoyed bc people keep coming to him complaining of the beast and wanting its head)

so he heads down, perhaps with some special device from Essos to stop the lure of Sirens and he sees him then for the first time and Valarr is enamoured…

bc who was going to tell him that this creature… no this man… was so beautiful!?

and at first the creature is vicious and sees the device, which maybe hurts his ears and he breaks it… Valarr starts to panic and the creature smiles wickedly until the lure doesn’t work… the Old Blood of Valyria in Valarr protects him from the wrath of the Siren

and the siren is enraged, starts shouting and rambling and Valarr is stunned… because he can understand it… it’s speaking in High Valyrian… and Valarr responds in kind so now the creature is also shocked

so they begin to communicate and Valarr finds out the siren has a name, Aerion, and he isn’t a creature or a beast but something of old, now left here from being driven from his home

and Valarr keeps coming down to talk, the creature hating those who don’t speak well of Valarr and they begin to get closer and Valarr is scared it’s the sirens pull and Aerion is also scared it’s just his powers…

but their blood bond is so strong it creates a pull so sexual and intense they can’t be apart

also yeehawww Kaerīnnon, the angst in the next chapter brings us to chapter 1 in Zaldrītsos ooooo hehehe
