They had options of course and Kid's manager very much wanted to explore those options but to date Siobhan hadn't given him a solid date on when they could do that. Kid wasn't sure where the apprehension was coming from or if there was at all but he was done with guessing and decide to do a crazy little thing called conversing with his partner. He got up and scooped Siobhan into his arms effortlessly, spinning around a few times as he made his way to their couch that he tossed her on then got on top of her and nipped at her neck with frantic kisses, "Talk to me, babe. You getting cold feet about mixing business with personal?"

Vic’s been fumbling with the stupid rope for what feels like minutes, but it’s probably only been, like, thirty seconds. They keep replaying the same segment of the YouTube tutorial over and over again, trying to watch the hands of the person instructing, wrapping the rope around Siobhan’s arm and then having to do it all over again.
“You okay back there?” Siobhan asks, softly, like she's trying not to scare off a feral animal. Vic tries one last time to tie the knot in the right way and then gives up, huffing, leaning their forehead against the back of Siobhan’s shoulder.
“I can’t do it.” Frustration is welling up inside them, threatening to spill out as hot, angry tears. “My hands won't move the right way. I don't know. I should just untie you.”
Their fingers move against the rope holding Siobhan’s wrists together, but she jerks her arms away. “Hey,” she says, and Vic whimpers. “Come over here.”
Vic shuffles on their knees and settles in front of Siobhan, also kneeling, arms held behind her back. “I can’t,” they repeat, tears prickling behind their eyes. “You're better at this than me. I don't know why you asked me.”
Siobhan’s looking at them with deep affection, more than they feel like they deserve. They pick at the skin of their cuticles and Siobhan rocks forward, leaning her forehead against them.
“Kiss me,” she says, and they listen without much thought. Her lips are warm and soft against theirs, familiar and comforting, and the soothing warmth of her replaces the frustration prickling through their skin. Their brain blurs when her tongue slides against theirs, thoughts softening at the edges, bad thoughts pulled out of them by the insistent movement of Siobhan’s jaw.
She pulls back and her face is adorably pink. “We can stop if you want. That's always fine.” Vic whines wordlessly. They don't feel like they can talk much anymore. “But I know you can do it. Just take your time, baby. It’s okay if it's a little sloppy.”
Vic nods, feeling like Siobhan has pried them open and placed an unfamiliar resilience inside of them. They shift back behind her and take the rope in their hands, wrap it around her arms, replay the video and take their time with tying the knots, mind blurred into blissful obedience.
