#decvinylworship Day 11: a preorder Iâm waiting for. I am most excited for Sinaraâs The Everlorn, which will be getting a proper vinyl release in February. This is melodic black metal from Texas that sounds like it was made in Sweden. Highly recommended.

For fans of Dissection.
Had some fun with needles and thread.
ALBUMS OF THE WEEK. Here are the nine albums that got the most playtime from me this week. The clear winner was All Hellâs The Grave Alchemist. This album came out in 2017, has awesome Castlevania-inspired artwork, and crosses a lot of genres. I love it. All Hellâs newer album, The Witchâs Grail, also made the cut this week. I also dug deep into the well for some ancient Skeletal Remains to help me prepare for their upcoming 2020 release. 1. All Hell - The Grave Alchemist 2. Kvaen - The Funeral Pyre 3. Sinira - The Everlorn 4. Skeletal Remains - Beyond the Flesh 5. Tribulation - The Formulas of Death 6. All Hell - The Witchâs Grail 7. Night Cobra - In Praise of the Shadow 8. Haunt - Flashback 9. Exhumed - Necrocracy What topped your charts this week?

Texas black metal alert! I just learned about an awesome BM band from Nacogdoches called Sinira, which just released a fantastic new album: The Everlorn. This oozes the Dissection melodic black metal vibe. It was so good I actually bought it on Bandcamp before the first track was even finished (and I never do that). Of course, all metal matters. But Texas black metal matters a lot! https://sinira218.bandcamp.com/album/the-everlorn
Sundaying with Sinira - The Everlorn.
ALBUMS OF THE WEEK! Hallowed Butcheryâs Deathsongs takes the top spot, and for good reason as it provides a stunningly powerful performance. Cherokee and Vital Spirit come back from last week, and Agalloch takes two well-deserved spots. Satyricon dropped a surprise new release - a 56 minute, single track instrumental album that is being used for a Norwegian art exhibit. Itâs dark ambient (not black metal at all), and while it may not be everyoneâs cup of tea, I really enjoyed it. â ď¸ 1. Hallowed Butchery - Deathsongs From the Hymnal of the Church of the Final Pilgrimage 2. Cherokee - Blood & Gold 3. Vital Spirit - Still as the Night, Cold as the Wind (2022) 4. Sinira - The Everlorn 5. Agalloch - The Mantle 6. VĂŠhĂŠmence - Ordalies (2022) 7. Agalloch - Ashes Against the Grain 8. Haunt - Windows of Your Heart (2022) 9. Satyricon - Satyricon & Munch (2022) â ď¸ What was on your playlist this week?
