I drew Emily Emory again!!!!
Another thing I've thought about regarding the sims 2 on PSP is that about the Espiritu Estate
so, in the game, Bella Goth sells the estate to us in a haste and we find out only once arriving there, that the house is very much haunted
the large bedroom is haunted by Nervous Subject, and the hall before it is haunted by a man named Dennis Philips
We find out from the maid, Emily, that Nervous was killed by one of the Beakers' experiments and that his ghost will leave the estate once we dig out an amulet from his grave and hand it to Annie Howell to let her know what happened, and that Dennis drowned in Hazel Dente's swimmingpool and so we need to locate his remains and bury them in her garden
what's interesting though, is that neither of these two actually died in the lot they're haunting...
to answer this, I was thinking about what they have in common and it's the fact they both died with unfinished business, and so hear me out:
what if the Espiritu Estate is some kind of limbo where the ghosts end up when they have unfinished business?
this of course also begs the question of what Emily's role is in all of this, because again, she's the one who tells us all this information which means she can communicate with the ghosts, unlike us
not to mention that one of Emily's secrets actually reveal that she too is dead and has been since 1923, but she doesn't float and isn't transparent and generally doesn't behave like other ghosts, so why is she there? Is Emily dead but trapped in her human body? does that mean that once it inevitably decays, she becomes Bonehilda? Is she a guide for souls like Nervous and Dennis, and that's why she's there to stay?
