The last message from River had been very clear to them, that he needed his son back, even if it also said he could take the time needed, it had been clear that he really wanted his son back home.
Flynn: At least one worry is no longer a thing.. Do you think he remembers?
Fannar: I don’t think so, it doesn’t seem like it at least. -they sighed- And I think me mentioning it will just make things worse.. best if he remembers whatever he knows about it on his own.
Flynn: You're the doctor. -chuckles- and it would probably be the better way of it I think, something to remember when he perhaps is ready, if he can ever be.
Fannar. Yeah.. if he can ever be. -they throw a small rock into the water.- Shall we then?
Flynn: I guess so. -he sighed, he had in many ways dreaded this day, even if he was also looking forward to seeing his dad and the family on that side again.- I don’t think I will ever be ready, so I guess it's more a matter of the simple fact that it is time?
Fannar just nods, the two of them getting to their feet, but neither of them move until Fan wraps his arms around his twin and hugs him tightly.
Fannar: I am going to miss you so much.
Flynn: Same.
They end up standing there for a while, until they walk back up to the cabin together, finding Emil sitting with Arlo reading.
Emil: So it’s time?
Flynn: Yes.
Arlo: Time?
