25 Sentences of Simon Griffith and Edie Moxley
A mini sentence set for Simon Griffith and Edie Moxley ;; with some cameos from Pip Dinwoodie and Elsa Griffith.
1. Fate
When her brother left her, she felt lost and alone--there was a period of time when she didn't talk much, and made a routine that included very little interaction with others--but then she realized that this wasn't what he would have wanted her to do; and as soon as she made this decision to continue on his legacy, she saw a boy with green hair.
2. Drive
She's heard what they say about her--how she's not a proper lady, that she needed to learn proper etiquette and how to play the piano, and have singing lessons and read more books, but she now knew that there were better things to do--like actually helping people when they were in trouble.
3. Hurricane
They rammed into his life so unexpectedly that he felt like he was drowning, being dragged around by the both of them, but in a strange way, finally felt alive when he discovered he had a purpose and a motivation to fight back and that he wasn't always going to get rejected.
4. Hero
He always considered himself a sidekick or the one behind the scenes, but she always saw his potential.
5. Need
Though she never understood Pip's desire to be Sherlock and claim Simon as his Watson, he on the other hand, couldn't understand how there was even a girl in their group and proclaimed that she would never be allowed to be Mrs. Watson--but she didn't have a clue as to what the blue-haired boy was muttering to himself about.
6. Waltz
He furiously blushed when he suddenly had thoughts of twirling her around the school's ballroom, thinking how especially pretty her bow was this evening, and how big and wonderful and magical her smile was--before he was brought back to reality as he thought he heard her sigh his name.
7. Watch
He realized he was so enamored with the joy of simply seeing and being around her--after all, he knew that she always eyed her favorite pink bow to see if it was in its correct position, and she didn't like eating her greens (but loved mashed potatoes), and when she got angry, her brows furrowed but her lips quivered at the same time, and she obviously loves her brother dearly; he supposed that they were minute details, but he enjoyed discovering new things about her everyday.
8. Run
He had the urge to bolt immediately to the menagerie upon the discovery that she, among other students he didn't remember, "disappeared", but he decided to follow Pip and follow through with that plan, for Pip always knew what was best.
9. Nightmare
He couldn't begin to imagine what was going on behind the fences at the menagerie and often woke up with a sweat as his brow, trying to catch his breath at the horrendous thought of her being in any type of pain.
10. Flying
Even though she wasn't free yet, and that they had only just arrived, he felt like he was up in the skies already, because he was finally able to see and hear her again--even though she was an adorable white hare.
11. Summer
While he had looked forward to the break in the past, he now wanted to hiatus to be over quickly; he didn't want to go home without seeing his two dear friends for such a long time--but then on the last day, she called out for him, asking for his home address, as she wanted to write to him (to him!, he thought in delight).
12. Curve
When he exchanged addresses with her, he looked at the curls of her letters, the firm dots of her i's, and the dark ink of her pen--before Pip called out to him, reminding him that there was still a final mystery to be solved.
13. Fool
Upon going home, he thought he kept the slip of paper safe (it was, in his eyes, a gift), but somehow his sister got to it, and laughed at how stupid he was for keeping a scrap of paper with some scribbles on it.
14. Misunderstanding
His sister told him that he was being silly for being caught up with a girl, and when she discovered that the two were exchanging letters, she decided to play a prank on him, and hid away his receiving letters for a whole week (which made him worried that the orange-haired girl disliked him, and succeeded to further bury his self-esteem).
15. Hide
She tried to push away her disappointment when he never returned her letters, and felt slightly embarrassed for sending such detailed recollections of her activities--what if he was bored of her? what if she was being too weird?
16. Doubt
And when school was starting up again, both of them decided to not bring up what occurred, each thinking that the other was not interested in talking in such ways.
17. Whisper
Whenever she softly said his name, he always thought that it was as if she wanted to tickle him with her voice, that she only wanted him to hear, and even if he were a thousand miles away, she was confident that he'd still hear her--but the thought of being ever so far away from her made him frown and hope that there would never be the chance of them separating again.
18. Box
When it came down to it, she discovered that all of her belongings can fit in a lone brown container, after all, when it was her turn to be kicked out from Uncle Hugo's estate, she spent a grand total of five minutes putting her belongings together before walking out of the house (and not looking back).
19. Picture
She doesn't recall if she has any photographs of her parents, and barely does she remember what they looked or sounded like--but whenever she visits Eli, she asks him to tell her the stories, and comes up with her own.
20. Bother
The first place she thought of going after walking out was going to his house--after all, she still had the address, but she felt that she would intrude (and therefore, decided to lodge elsewhere), but little did she know, he was slightly disappointed and doubted himself, thinking that perhaps he would be the one causing problems.
21. Letters
When they began exchanging notes again, she one day asked why he never responded to her all those years ago, sharing with him her previous insecurities, and he realized who was at fault of this long misunderstanding and smiled at himself, wondering if his older sister even remembered such a thing. (He imagined that if he brought it up now, she'd scoff at him for remembering such a dumb detail.)
22. Forever
Neither of them know how long forever is, nor do they really ponder on the thought, but if it means being together for as long as they live (and hopefully beyond), then there are no doubts as to why they wouldn't say I do.
23. Wait
But he knew there was more to this than exchanging promises--he felt responsible and had a desire to give her a proper accommodation, to share a stable life and to do that, he needed to get a...nice job (and therefore get continuing education)--and so he asked her to be patient with him, and in response, she simply held his hand.
24. Time
Upon recollecting the past, she randomly found herself unable to remember when she started seeing him "differently"; there was no "moment" that suddenly changed their dynamic, but she was was perfectly content with how things turned out to be--except for cooking for Pip, even after all these years of doing so.
25. Journey
One day, he was thinking back on what they had done so far, and said that he was happy about their adventures and hoped that things would calm down soon (for he didn't know if he could mentally prepare himself for having to rescue her again), but she smiled brightly at him and said that this was still the beginning and if he thought otherwise, he would be about to embark on one hell of a ride.
