Six episodes are too few to play the character Simon, because in each episode he reveals himself more and more throughout his story. We can see a brave Simon in front of the students when singing in the first episode, then a friend Simon when he invites Wilhelm to watch a game. Next a restless and confused Simon when he kisses Wille, but later becomes a radiant and passionate Simon. With each episode Simon discovers that people have made him several, even his family, and over time he loses himself in his very essence and is left alone. But Simon has a side that he shows to few, his independent side, where his choices are made by him and no one else. He faces his father, he faces August, his sister and even Wille, betting on everything he believes is best for these relationships. He chooses to forgive, he chooses who to keep close and who doesn't, all to protect himself and shape his happiness, because everything he gives, ends up not getting back in the same intensity. He even understands and respects, but who wouldn't want to be loved as they deserve?
