HAPPY 12TH ANNIVERSARY FNAF !!!!!!!

- michael is (realistically) bald af. i like drawing him bald but that's probably because i get really mad at his hair. is it a wig? who knows. its full of grey hairs though lol. regardless none of it is growing any more

- self-built endoskeleton! he's been kind of stealing parts to rebuild himself. fazent makes a dollar, mike makes a dime, that's why mike steals screws and bolts on company time. and also something something kind of becoming what you hate in a really roundabout way. idk. he's slowly becoming more "animatronic-like" to stabilize his body. ennard drilled further than just his torso, which left a lot empty.

- he uses his torso cavity as storage sometimes. make the most of what you've got or somethinggg

- he's stitched what skin he could salvage back together

- he stopped actively rotting not long after ennard expelled itself. the smell lingered for a while, but his state didn't worsen (not that it could). he mostly smells like oil and burned fabric now.

- broken jaw, which is also reinforced with metal. he does use this for bits where he's supposed to have a "jaw drop" moment and it grosses everyone out

- missing most organs. he has 1 whole (severely punctured) lung, and his heart is still intact (albeit, it doesn't really work). the other lung is torn in half, and pretty much everything else is gone. he's able to inhale (*very weakly), but unable to really exhale. he speaks via possession bullshit. guy possessing his own body. idk.

- on that note, michael smokes very often and usually just inhales the smoke and allows it to filter out of his chest. normally it isn't noticable, but if he's not bandaged/wearing his mask, it's possible to watch the smoke pour out of the tears in his skin

- veryyyy covered in burn scars. mike survived the pizza sim fire, but not unscathed!

- no eyes! the "eyes" he has are kind of just light, and more of an illusion than anything. possession bullshit.

- UGLY AF!!!!!!! it's important to me that he is just genuinely ugly. I mean, he's a corpse and like 60 years old. he's been a corpse longer than he was ever alive. he was always very vain, still is, but now he's sulking about it the whole time. it actively upsets him.

when i watched orphan black i legit forgot half the time that half the cast was tatiana maslany and was thinking about the show like there were different actresses for all the clones

YES. it's truly incredible because it's not simply stylistic choices which differentiate the characters (like alison's straight bangs or sarah's black eyeshadow) or accents (mika's and helena's being the most obvious), but the detailed mannerisms. when looking at the photos of the "clones" you don't actually feel that impressed (at least i didn't). they are still the same woman, her face and features distinguishable. it's when you are watching her act that you forget. sarah impersonating beth is different from beth. cosima is horrible as alison and alison is far too theatrical when sarah. a lot of acting relies on audience's suspension of disbelief (why is this x famous actor in my historical romance?), but tatiana is so good you keep forgetting what she looks like. she is forcefully immersing you.

#i was expecting them to rely on gimmicks #like those accents or clothes #and they did somewhat #naturally #but sarah dressed as beth and beth dressed as sarah would still be different #similarly #in a pair of characters who are somewhat alike in some way (both alison and rachel are prim in their posing)#there's still enough difference for them to be easily distinguishable (alison has that spring in her step and rachel's very determined)#they are both slightly stiff yet the origin of that stiffness isn't the same #tmi but it was also fun to note how i felt about each clone character #since they are very much the same woman. there are no features which would make her significantly more appealing to me.#and so it was interesting to notice that those mannerisms are enough to make me much more into some versions of tatiana #and not the other #reminds me that i woud love to watch dorian gray in sarah snook's portrayal #thanks for the ask anon #orphan black
