We’ve been living our best lives over the past few months. Now that Paige is fully walking, our little family has been able to do more toddler activities and simple things such as going to the park have become a breeze now. Paige is now twenty one months old, so the same age as Evie was when I had her sister. And I’ll tell you what, if I had a newborn the same age as Paige is now, I'd drop dead with exhaustion. Paige hasn’t grown out of many newborn things like needing to be rocked to sleep (my own fault and a post for another day) and needs so much more attention than her sister ever did at that age. It just really 0proves that every kid is different, even with the same parents and upbringing.

Miss Evie is almost four! My first little baby is almost a kid! It amazes me every time I think about it. She just grew overnight it seems. Her speech is coming along well and while we are struggling with a few sounds I’m confident that she will learn eventually, but I’m still pushing for an extensive hearing test when she starts school next year. On that topic, a lot of Evie’s friends have started school this year but because of when her birthday is, she has to wait another year. So Deimon and I have decided to put her into some sort of afterschool activity or day care (not really keen on daycare though...) but that will also be another post for another day.

And finally for me, I’m doing a lot better as of late. I learnt that a large majority of my depressive episodes were coming from my contraception, and with that knowledge I've sort of figured to be calmer during those triggering times when I’m my most sensitive. This year I’ve also decided to focus on me some more. Sure I’ve been working my ass off raising my two girls but in that process I did loose myself. I’ve started taking time away from them, getting my nails and hair done, putting more effort in how I dress and so far I can feel Arielle coming back out of her ‘just mum’ phase.

Anywho, going to try be more active again. But how many times have I said that and continued to never post? I’m trying okay?!
