Oh, great fact about Zoroark vs Pikachu:
While Pikachu came to the battle field during Silvuddy battle, he didn’t get any damage during it. Pikachu seemed to be at disadvantage due to Silvuddy being able to keep up with it’s speed but no: Satoshi knew exactly what to do with Pikachu, and he led Gladio to command Silvuddy accordingly.
Before their match, Melmetal managed to land three powerful, massive damage inducing moves on Silvuddy. You can see Silvuddy sizzling when it got hit by Flash Cannon. You can see damage on it after being hit by Double Iron Bash.
Had Melmetal not gotten exhausted by the time Satoshi tried to command the last Flash Cannon, Silvuddy would have been beaten right there. But alas, we know what happened. That was amazing effort for a just-recently-evolved Pokémon, I’m proud!
This was important to Silvuddy vs Pikachu because Silvuddy was very close to fainting at that point, so all it really needed was for Pikachu to manage to land a powerful attack on it to get it down. And it did, with a clever usage of Electroweb as a speed booster (ironic when it lowers speed on attacker’s target lol That was an interesting way to use it, I love this move so much) for Quick Attack’s speed, and then landing a fast-speed-boosted Iron Tail. This is my favourite part of the whole episode right now!
Then, comes Zoroark, disguised as Lugarugan. Due to flinching Satoshi with an unexpected attack, Pikachu gets his first hit in the match. But guess what? Pikachu also gets his first hit on Zoroark just a bit later, and this bit interests me!
After Zoroark lands a hit on Electroweb, it looks calm and so certain of himself. It’s like it’s thinking, ‘piece of cake, that was nothing‘. Then Gladio tells it to look behind because Pikachu is right behind him running towards to launch an attack! Zoroark lost focus for a bit for what could be called an ego?
This bit right here causes the two to be on even odds. Both have landed their first hits on each other. Both are damaged from same round. Both are starting from same ground next episode. It’s an even match atm, and it’s seriously hard to tell who’s at the winning side at the time.
The battle looks so intense next week, with the final Pokémon stepping in and no side looking like they’re backing down and being cornered. It’s gonna be my first League finale live, and I’m both hyped and scared. Whatever the outcome, I’m totally not ready.

Aaah, so the music that has for example appeared during Guzzlord flashback, Lilie's flashback, Necrozma flashback etc debuted in SM047 with Gladio's scene (Pretty sure I found the original version in the game OST a while back as well but I forgot the name for now D:). Interesting. Also, Gladio's always been a good boy, a good big bro, he's just a bit edgy on the Ultra Beasts and such. I do find it a bit sad that his 'I'll destroy Ultra Beasts with Silvuddy hear' never really... came to fruitition? Not fully at least. Shame, but maybe it just says that Gladio's view on them changed after Aether Arc. That'd explain it.

I LOVE too much that Gladion has created the name of Silver-Buddy for Silvally, it is very sweet and pure, I adore Gladion, he is a good boy with heart of gold <3
I love that name ;A; Gladio is a great boy golden boy best boi. Lil edgy but still indeed has a heart of gold!
I feel like I'm the only person who says "silv-al-ee," it comes off the tongue so much better. ( But I do get where 'ally' comes from - because Null is a Pokémon who evolves with friendship and your friends are usually your allies. )
There could be someone who pronounces it like you do! The world is small :D I myself pronounce it Sil-va-li. It just comes out naturally from me.
but in the jap dub, they say sil-vady or silvally. while english it's silv-ally. english one sounds so weird
Well, Silvally does come from the words Silver and Ally in english translation. In Japanese, I believe it’s from Silver and Buddy. So like, it’s understandable why it’s pronounced the way it is in english. I think Silvally will sound weird to those who aren’t native in english. I mean. I ain’t. And it sounds weird. :D
