Originally, the idea for this comic was months ago. I wanted it to be focus on Silver. Now I decided to draw this.

I was thinking Silver never saw Slash as a child smiling. Seeing him for the first time an alternative of Slash child smiling would stir up some emotions in Silver. Since he knows what he and Slash went through when they were in the Underwar.

Also i think it will be cute for Silver to see him like it, even if he never see his own brother smiling when they was in Underwar.

Also, yes child Slash and child Onyx speak sign language there. Just so you know, I have no idea what I drew or had them say to each other. I just know that child Onyx has learned to sign to understand what child Slash is saying.
