Ezran would ride a Night Fury! + Bait would be a hobgobbler! (C’mon, he is basically hiccup. Could also go sand wraith tho)
Soren would ride an Armorwing! ( dunno it just really fits somehow. Also considered Rumblehorn)
Claudia would ride a Deathgripper! (Fits her aesthetic pretty well (imagine a black and purple one!) and I feel their abilities suit her. Tho I do feel she would like a cute one… maybe she’d have terrible terror or something in s1)

Silver Phantom Redesign
I needed a break from another project and had HTTYD on my mind again. I was looking through the different species on the wiki and was reminded that Silver Phantoms exist. I really like the design conceptually, but not the execution. I don't care that it's a fantasy cartoon, those giant holes make my brain hurt!
I did a quick redesign (in my art style) just for fun. Those giant holes have been swapped out for clear skin/membrane in order to preserve the cool look without crossing the Rule of Cool/Distractingly Impractical threshold. You can even see some veins if you look close. I also gave it a really thin tail, kind of like a pterosaur. Just because.
I like to imagine that they're kinda like wandering albatrosses, that they can fly for days at a time and microsleep to rest while aloft.

It goes without saying that most of the HTTYD fandom GREATLY dislikes TNR, so let’s fix it.

(I think it would’ve been nice if the show introduced dragons from the games into the show. While the games ‘School of Dragons’ or ‘Rise of Berk’ aren’t necessarily canon, the dragons would have been familiar to OG fans while still technically being NEW as they weren’t seen in the movies or tv shows.)
