 Another guy comes at her. She jumps backwards, landing sideways on the building to her right and springing off the brick. She locks her legs around his neck and spins, taking him down face-first into the pavement.

 A guy a few paces ahead of her fires a round of gunshots towards her face and she flips backwards, bullets whisking by her stomach. Peter calls her name and asks if everything’s alright in her earpiece, but she presses her lips together in focus, firing a web at the man’s face, and another at his weapon, swiftly disarming him. 

 “God, I think guns have gotta be my least favorite weapon,” she says, webbing the handgun out of reach on the side of a building. “So noisy. And messy. Among many other things.”

 “Don’t ever repeat that to Frank,” Peter says in her ear. 

 She scoffs as she runs forward, using the guy’s chest as leverage to flip backwards, shooting a web at his chest to pull her forward, just enough momentum to knock him out with a punch. She exhales as she touches the ground, peering around at the fallen bodies surrounding her. 

 “And drugs have gotta be one of my most disliked criminal activities,” she says. “Like top five. Or…”

 “Bottom five?” 

 “However that works.”

 A small moment of silence ensues. She cards her fingers through her hair before resting her hands on her hips, drawing in a breath of fresh air. 

 “Well, there’s my cardio for the day,” she sighs, cracking her neck.
