Life comes in seasons. Right now it is winter. The snow is falling, the lake is frigid and travel is treacherous. Soon, summer will come once again and the hot sun will shine brightly on the green grass, blue water and the lively streets. Although I used to hate summer, I have learned to appreciate all season for their own unique traits. . For example, winter is great for indulging in creative desires, spending time with family and living in silence. Summer, on the other hand, is ideal for outdoor activities (like mermaiding), exploring new areas and people watching... at least for me. I used to think of summer as simply a time to sweat to death, but now I see it for its many possibilities. . Likewise, we all have seasons of life that we experience personally. Times of darkness, sorrow and pain. Times of fear, uncertainty and disappointment. There are times in life where everything feels perfect. Everything is aligned. Life is bliss... but no what season you're experiencing, it won't last forever. The bad days sink below the horizon as the joyful days emerge. The reverse is also true. . Regardless of the season you're in, it is important to look around and see what it has to offer. Success may remind you that you are worthy of more than you thought. Heartache will, in time, teach you just how strong and resilient you really are... both will lead you down a new path towards the next season. . With each season comes a new lesson.
