Because it’s too much, I am gonna send this thing in waves due to size of each episode combined being too much
Ive been thinking about this one occasionally, may due to my own life experiences but it touched me, may write something like this but for what is presented, here is some fish and chips to go along side the episodes presented for this one.
Ep 1: The Starting Point; Lord Jacob Ashely Elliott, He was the owner of the Elliott Estate Manor, it's grandeur was well known, he hadn't seen it in a while, after all, he hadn't time thanks to the business to maintain his very successful drones, they were like children to him, he crafted them with care, and constantly went over the machines that automated the process, even still, just like people, sometimes a bug would creep through whether over time or upon completion, leading to him having to have to give a drone a pair of glasses sometimes or sometimes mobility aids, but he did not mind them, all his drones came in varying sizes, and he was still largely the face of the company. Speaking of, it was originally supposed to be a family business, though from what he has seen in his time, he is going to have to skip a generation. He gripped his wheel of his vehicle tighter. He had fought for an easier life on this earth, it was the "war to end all war's", he hated what had spawned it, hated what it was to those people who sat with wealth that was beyond his reach still, and frankly, he'd like to keep it that way, the retro revival was his attempt at making the world more in the hands of the consumer again, more in the hands of the very people who prop up the system itself and his current grandchildren…they were cosplaying the very same kinds of people that begun the path away from such a thing. He took a deep breath and let out a soft sigh, god's he was trying hard, he had moved to Australia after it all to get away and same with adventuring, met a lovely partner in Australia here, and had kids with them, they long since passed but they both have lived a long life, his partner, they always did say he was the type to live long for others, and at this point he was thinking that they were going to be correct in their statement. He tried to get his mind back on track, he tried humming an old ancient tune of tetris, it had been his partners favorite games, and as such, it ended up as one of the old games he rebuilt from the ground up as lil games drones would be able to play when not doing a job or anything, something for their minds to focus on instead of just standing there so they weren't stressed out, he slowly pulled up to the old manor, in a car that both looks futuristic yet full of past inspirations, green energy devices all around it, a contrast to the very house he pulled up to.(throught the episode, things get shown via flashbacks and such, establishing of the company, and mentioned things like the games on drones).
Ep 2: The Flags Of Red Wave High; We start off where the other episode ended, outside of the manor, he starts a inspection of the manor itself before entering. he first begins at first with the grounds themselves, already he's muttering, usually this area was supposed to be handled lightly, allowing the elements to sort themselves out but the ground here, over done, the wetlands had managed to make the grounds into wet mud, there was barely any grass, and despite occasional mud, with how the land was being treated, it wasn't gonna last too many decades if owners didn't change fast, he sighed, "another thing to chat about to get my grandson to understand" he muttered under his breath. He then walks to the family graveyard…only to find it mostly overgrown…except for four graves, his father Nathan Elliott, his Mother Valoria Elliott, his older sister Jovia Elliott, And Celfin Elliott, his partner, while the graves looked disturbed, they also looked like they had been spruced up and handled, which perplexed him a bit, but he was at least glad someone came around to do something with it, it mostly looked our right discarded by the property owners for the most part, he had heard from the occasional phone call that his dear great granddaughter Tessa had put hair on drones that she repaired to work again, he'd always wondered where it came from, at least she payed some attention and also cleaned up the graves…goodness, he had to check the rest of the outer area of the house. The garden was next…thankfully it looked like something had been here, occasionally tending to the gardens, who or what, he didn't care…though he did notice it looked dryer than he remembered despite the state of the front of the house, checking the water ways, he found it largely empty, then he slowly marched, a march that had been practiced in his days of the war, he followed the original stream and saw it…saw it all. His eyes widen, and we get a slo-mo as his jaw drops along side it, as he pulls away leaves, the camera slowly pans…unveiling the drone graveyard the manor has now gained, his hands at first ball-up, then they slowly go forth, as he steps forward on instinct rather than reasoning, he noticed the sheer amount of it all, the fencing used around it and the carefully planted quickest growing trees that were native, though he did see a foot path…so this is where tessa got those drones from, his face is a mix of emotions upon this realization, but then he sees…the pit, that cyn came from(though only us viewers know that detail), why was it so deep, why was it built, what purpose…and why so many drone lives wasted?! He slowly cradles a drone into his arms, his eyes looking to refill the water supply themselves just by crying from the looks of it, he slowly brings it closer, inspecting it, it's still in pristine condition, it's still fully fine, it was still very much capable of doing jobs and helping out, so why-, his eyes widen as much as they can any more, and he moves the drones head. A Serious Scowl Slowly forms onto his face, a Decommissioning tool was used on it, not his humane as possible disassembly machines, assuring just like human donar's, a drone that their parts would be used for future generations and such, no, it was a Decommissioning Handheld Device or DHD that made this hole "I only made one of those devices and locked it away….how the bloody hell…" (a flashback would show the blueprints and design of the DHD, design wise it looks like a nailgun but the end of the machine looking like the canonical end of a disassembly machine but with a lot more force behind it). He was starting to feel horrid, he finally goes back around to the front, he takes a ton of deep breaths to reclaim what little inner composure he has and knocks on the door, he is let in by a drone, the episode ends with the door being closed by the drone.
Ep 3: A london bridge has fallen down; Jacob scans the household…and already his face is shifting into a look of displeasure and disgust, his eyes scanning everything, the decorations the decor, the snobbish vibes of it all, the drone who answers the door greets him by its designation A1, Jacob looks down and he smiles, and he gently lowers himself, switching to a more positive face and goes for a handshake…but when he reaches out, he watches the drone recoil in fear…his face swapping to concern instantly, he KNOWS that body language and he doesn't particularly like seeing it on one of his drones. He apologizes and watches as the drones face, looks confused for a sec, but then registers who it is, and apologizes for the reaction they had, trying to explain themselves in a way that doesn't involve the obvious, but Jacob simply says "it's alright, divvent apologize ya bloke, you were just a little startled" and he sighs as he hangs up his coat on the rack himself, how long was this conversation he was gonna have with his grandson gonna have to be. He lets himself relax as he roams the halls of his own household, seeing how the elliotts have transformed the big place…and every second his demeanor looks…troubled, it's constantly changing and evolves as he absorbs the information as he walks the halls, seeing how much the elliotts that currently live within his household, he keeps seeing, the exact opposite of what he had hoped for, some family heirlooms instead of finding them out and about, the tech has been hidden away in storage closets, and he notices one thing while glancing inside one, the holder for the DHD tool, is currently, empty. The tool being gone, and all he has seen so far, he picks up speed a little, his face contorting as he mutters under his breath, unable for the viewer to understand, but his expression is of great frustration at this point, he sees it, it's been repainted to look like one of those old flintlock pistols, save for the disassembly machine color scheme on the tip, and he's watching as his grandson is lining it up with another drone, B2 , the speed that absolutely possesses this man is astonishing for his age, and he grabs the tool, and forces James to aim for the sky, james is startled and wondering what thief tried to stop him….before he sees the very….very mad face of his grandfather. "O-oh Grandpa Jacob!" A nervous chuckle escapes james lips "wh-what brings you here um, back from your a-adventures and the business?" The tension is very thick in the air and very obvious as Jacob Ashley Elliott is GLARING down his grandson as he speaks the next words "Just checking in. Blag boy." Each word laced with discontent and disappointment towards the grandson who was about to harm one of the drones under this roof, again "and I think I might be having, an extended stay" louisa enters the room, it's obvious she wasn't expecting to see him either. The episode ends with tessa, V, N, J, And Cyn seeing grandpa, for the drones it's their first time, tessa is happy though with this adult figure so that puts them at ease, and to hear he is staying around for a bit gives them hopeful smiles.
Ep 4: Bits and Bobs of life; This episode is entirely dedicated to showing dynamics between the manor crew and him during the early days of his "temp stay". Tessa showing her skills and showing how she learned to repair drones, much to the delight of Jacob. J finally having a heslthy outlet for her business knowledge of JCJennson company knowledge, and she even gets corrected, with a concerned face of jacob, especially ones that are union related, he recently had to update that, but…something tells him that this is being effected by her being in this household with his grandson. V is getting reccomended books and gets a spare pair of glasses made for drone visors, why does jacob carry all these differing lenses of glasses for drones on him "ya neva know" is all the answer the viewers and V get. N is happily explaining his duties and his overclocked reaction speed defect which has led to guests occasionally testing said speed, Jacob checks in and, because this is manor N, he does admit that it's been rough with the "heads" of the house. Cyn is mainly for her servo issues, poor guy wants to help but checking the internal workings, poor gal's inner workings are shot, it's a miracle she's managing to move or keep her head up as long as she does, he does also notice…that the solver is enabled, that's…kinda concerning, because while for viewers who know the horrors, for jacob, his face twists into full on concern at a realization hits him, the solver is directly acting AS THE MOBILITY AID, which is shown to us as it pans towards the repair computer that tessa uses, being used by Jacob.
