This forest was rife with wildlife and other beings. Talyn’s met quite a few as of late, but never something like this before. He thought he saw some kind of fight going on in the skies followed by a distant crash through the trees. Curiosity and concern won him over and the Tiefling worked his way over to a small clearing with a creature that resembled both a man and a bird, an owl to be exact, with feathers like midnight.
It was easy to see that the being was injured, likely from the fall through the trees. Talyn crept closer, putting his short sword away so that his hands were empty as the no-doubt already distressed creature was finally allowed to take notice of his presence. Not sure if it’d understand, he holds his hands up in a gentle, non-threatening gesture.
“Hey - Hey, take it easy. I’m not here to hurt you.”
