i feel like people don’t acknowledge or don’t know that being anti censorship doesn’t automatically mean you’re a proshipper and that anti censorship and proshipping aren’t the same thing. it’s irritating as someone who is anti censorship and are against proshipping to see people say that proshipping and anti censorship are the same or very similar to each other.
anti censorship literally means to be against censorship. what anti censorship means for pro/darkshippers is that your content of pro/darkshipping and romanticizing horrible things isn’t censored but it doesn’t mean that romanticizing horrible stuff is okay, it just means that you aren’t going to be censored. it’s still bad that you are romanticizing that stuff.
