marimand high school au but from an outsider perspective. like imagine you’re in high school and there’s a new kid everyone jokes is in love with the art teacher because he acts like it (he always hangs around him, clearly a suck-up in class, but also always argues with him). Some people swear they’ve Seen Things but most people, including you, chalk it up to rumors.
one day someone sees the teacher give the kid a ride home and reports it. of course none of the students know exactly what happened with the investigation, but word goes around that they actually literally live together. apparently the kid is adopted??? by the art teacher?????

anyway, at graduation, after the ceremony you see kid run to the art teacher and leap into his arms and kiss him fully on the mouth and well. what the fuck are you gonna do.
