Another defending the 'bad' guy post from me, this time it's Aoey from Lovely Writer. I knew as soon as I saw his ass, he had some troubled back story. Even now, he is just a man looking to be loved and to achieve a dream, he also wants someone to be proud of that dream, someone who believes he can actually do it, instead of belittle him. It hits a bit too close to home.
In terms of him, Gene and Sib, Gene and Sib obviously haven't made anything explicit about their relationship, so even if Aoey knows that Gene likes Sib, so what? They're not dating, they're not tuning as far as he is concerned. Why can't he ask Gene for help? Why isn't he allowed to pursue Sib and ultimately let Sib chose? Sib hasn't explicitly rejected him either? As far as he can justify it, he still has a chance, no matter how small that chance is (just like of him achieving his French bakery dream, ooh it hurts) he is still determined to chase it.
I just want this baby to be happy :((((
*Note: when I finish this series and add it to my BL rankings post, a lot of it will be about Tiffy and how much I love that woman. Immediately she's a ten thousand million on a motorbike outta ten.

I just watched Lovely Writer the series. I loved it! I immediately went to AO3. Much to my surprise theres only 4 pages? Is there a reason theres not much fanfic, I feel like ive heard a lot about this drama.
Ironically theres a ton of fanfic with up/kao which is pretty ironic considering that being a big issue in bl dramas in the show..
