I think a safe source of weight would be good for Akira and Mishima needs a reassuring touch -- aka let them cuddle. Too many people in this dang series are starved for human contact

It's Got Me Wondering Exactly What I'm Missing

Summary:

"I think I'll be fine now, Yuuki, I'm not that queasy."

"You're about to be, though —" he looked back when Akira stopped moving, letting go only to get behind and start nudging, "— and I know you hate when that happens."

"It's that easy to tell?"

"I used to feel like that all the time, makes it easy to spot, especially with you. Now come on, stop stopping."

Akira had dug in his heels for the fun of it, the thin path to the alleyway and Akira's bag making it too difficult for Yuuki to slip by and pull, letting out a laugh while he leaned back… though he regretted it. There was that disorienting feeling he only put up with because anything else was worse. Thankfully he could walk to Leblanc without most of his senses so a bit of dizziness was small change, taking shallow breaths before he let himself be trudged forward, nodding at Yuuki's small reassurances.

Summary:

"Is it supposed to feel like this?" After drudging up all the effort he contained Mishima returned Akira's squeeze.

"What does it feel like?"

"I want to throw up. And I'm scared… I don't think I… I don't think I can do it. Even if it's you I can't." Facing it made Mishima feel weak, hiding in his knees, refusing to let his best friend's hand go. What kind of guy was he, to not feel ecstatic that a beautiful person agreed to be intimate with him? A beautiful person he cared for so much, a wonderful person that had stumbled through so much awkward and unsexy preparation and planning, only laughing a few times when they'd been huddled in the corner of a convenience store. They'd both laughed then so shouldn't things be fine?

I adore a flustered Mishima but we never get enough of the opposite: Akira being a bit of a nervous mess because he's also not used to this stuff. Confessing in the most convoluted and/or stereotypical way fits these guys too well

To be made to realize the futility of his suffering was stronger than being made to realize the futility of his occasional happiness.
