You don't have all three of those things, it doesn't work. You need a way to coordinate all, let me do a quick bit of math, assuming the entirety of Tumblr’s US userbase participates, 23 million people. Alright, sure, I’ll give you that one as a freebie, let us just say that everyone sticks it out. Next, you need your mutual aid, your parallel society if you will. You’re not making it more than a week or two without that, and there is no Party or Union in the US which can provide that. But fine, let’s pretend that everyone manages that already. Sure, why not. Lastly. There has to be some sort of entity which communicates unified demands. I haven't seen anything of that nature, and the Spanish Civil War teaches us the dangers of ignoring that step. In addition, I don't even know what these demands are. The resignation of the President? Probably, if good old Wolfgang Kapp can do it why can’t you, but what else? If all 23 million people (again, a best of the best case scenario) can’t agree upon something, which without the aforementioned coordinating body I see as a very likely possibility, then no one is walking away with anything. This is adventurism, plain and simple. Even the Spartacists thought their little jaunt through more than this. I do not mean to be pessimistic, but there is a reason that revolutions have not happened like this, and it is because these things need planning, and beyond the first step. Let me be clear, I am not a Blanquist, popular support is necessary in all things, but the people have to decide on what exactly they’re going to do beyond “no going anywhere for a week+”! This is what unions are for, what parties are for!
