Friendly reminder for anti–Shuri × Riri and pro-Shuri × Namor shippers who say Shuri x Riri wouldn't be accurate to the comics.
Riri and Xavier are not canon in the comic; they are purely friends. Weirdly, I don't see a single one of you complaining about that.
Shuri doesn't have romantic feelings for Namor in the comics either, as she has a completely different love interest.
Friendly reminder: in another universe, Shuri and Riri are canon.
Friendly reminder: If you're saying that "we need more female friendships" while being completely fine with every female character ending up with a male character, that's a double standard and is homophobic.
Finally, a friendly reminder that the MCU and Marvel Comics are two separate universes. Something not being canon in one does not automatically mean it cannot exist in the other.
