I have very limited thoughts about the idea right now but, I was thinking Buckys a wild rabbit who’s off searching for a mate and ends up meeting Steve who’s a prim and proper almost like a house pet.
But I’m not sure how the house pet idea would even work in this context. So I’ve gotta think about it some more.
Everything’s a work in progress, also steves expression isn’t disgust, I didn’t realize it kinda looks like that. I was aiming for, ‘holy shit I want him so bad’ but I fucked it up, whoops.

“Those are pins,” Steve realized. He looked over at Hill. “The mask—it’s nailed to his face.”
Hill’s face was as unmoved as ever. “Like I said. They really didn’t want it coming off.”

Beautiful friends! Summer means sunshine and fun times, and I hope this new fic is a shot of both. After the sprawl and angst of There Is Thunder In Our Hearts, I longed to go back to my Shrunkyclunks roots and write something *super* fluffy. I also thought I might try my hand at a version inspired by 1930s Bucky Barnes--confident, charming, with an extra dose of heart and a soft spot for one Steve Rogers.
In this chapter, you will find: a meet cute, a minor injury, a family occasion, a charity gala, and some typical Natasha Romanoff snark. I very much hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. There are at least twelve chapters, possibly more, to come.
