It really isn't. It's fine to be mysterious and keep details hidden, but to literally release a character encyclopedia and NOT include names 8 years later (Crying Child) because you want to keep being mysterious is actually absurd (not to mention he can't even be assed to hire a good professional artist for the job jfc...).
