We were joking around at work last night. Talking about going 'above and beyond'
I jokingly (not so jokingly) said "i go below and before" and a couple of my coworkers rolled their eyes.
But honestly. Work is selling your labour. If you're in sales your job is to earn more than you're putting out.
So im selling my labour for $30/hr but my responsibility as a salesman dictates i get a better deal than im giving. So i give $10-15/hr in labour.
I cant negotiate higher pay (we have a union so they do that for us) so the only way i can make a labour profit is by reducing the labour that im selling for the agreed price.
Im using shrinkflation to my advantage. Fuck work.
