Whats the inspiration behind Viperfang/Shrewpelt's name change?

This is a good question.

When he was first created, he was to be an antagonist for Dawnfrost, so I made one of his root jealousies about his boring name, Shrewpelt. Later, the intent was for them to become friends and Dawn to change it for him. It was originally Snakefang, but changed to Viperfang because we like it better.

Honestly, it just sounds cool.
