I want to show my love for @brightlotusmoon. Both for her amazing fanfictions, but also for being so open about life with disabilities and mental health. Her fanfics are incredibly deep and detailed and everytime I read them I have to go back through to notice ALL the details she put in. Plus she's an OG tmnt fan so she's already incredibly awesome.
Anyways, I digress-
The ultimate reason I want to show my love to her is for giving me a place to finally learn about my disabilities; before discovering her blog and fanfics I thought I was alone and that i was the weirdest person ever for things i can't control- but I've learned that im not alone, and that what I experience is actually normal. I've started stimming, actively started paying attention to my spoons, and no longer feel guilty for having non verbal days. I finally have been able to make sense of experiences over my twenty year existence, and I even get to read stories with my favorite characters going through similar things! She's given me a safe place to blossom and for that I'll be forever thankful.
(Once more, I gotta emphasize that her fanfics are INCREDIBLE please go read them)
