Showcase Snaps

Travelling with photography equipment had never been high up on Eve’s list of favourite things to do. Sure, it wasn’t like she had to cart around filming equipment, and sure, the bag containing her most precious belongings was only the size of a bulky satchel. But team that with her everyday bag and Seoul’s Metro system which was rarely lax of people and it often became an awkward dance of trying to fit into a small as space as possible. If the roads weren’t such a nightmare and double the travel time she would definitely apply for her licence.
Today’s trip though was worth the awkward bows and apologies as she tried to squeeze through a set of businessmen and a tourist with three suitcases. For one, it was a chance to get her name out there. For another, it was extra money. And probably the most importantly she would get to see Yeri. The two had crossed paths at several events and through doing so had struck up a friendship, so when the florist messaged her asking if she wanted to take photos of a stall at one of Seoul’s biggest wedding showcases there was no possible answer other than yes.
When the train pulled in at her stop she extracted herself with another round of apologies and walked the 500 metres up the street to the venue. It was a relatively large centre that boasted a giant flapping canvas stuck to the side advertising the day’s wedding event. Maybe next year she’d be able to have her own stall at it. Hoisting her bag further up her shoulder she made her way inside, pausing by the layout map until she spotted the designated area for Floralis and weaved through the crowd towards it.
“How many people want your wedding bouquets already?”
