Hello everyone, my father is saving up enough money for his shoulder surgery, I'm asking that you please read his message. If you can't donate, seeing and sharing his message to others can make a world of difference. Even $5 can help him in the long run.

”My name is Raphael “Junior” Mitchell. I am raising money for a complete Shoulder Replacement surgery.

During the last week of May 2020, I blacked out while in my home. I fell and sustained serious injuries to my head, lower back and right shoulder. I was rushed to the hospital and released a few days later when I was stable.

As a result of this fall, my right shoulder is separated by 1 ½ inches. Three major veins in my arm have also sustained serious trauma and are separated from the muscle and tissue in my arm. Doctors have diagnosed that without surgery, I will be paralyzed in my right arm within 6 months to a year.

Family and friends, please help me to raise these funds so I can have this surgery. This is very urgent. Doctors want to perform the surgery as soon as possible to reduce further injury and irreparable damage.

After surgery there will be a long road of recovery ahead including 3-4 months in a cast. 6-7 months of physical therapy and having to relearn every function of my right hand. This will be an additional challenge because I am right-handed and also a diabetic.
