"Quiet Reflection"- Living where I live on the West Coast, I don't get to experience snow. So for me, snow is a beautiful novelty. For awhile I've been spell bound by photos of Yosemite in the snow and wanted to see it. After going to Yosemite and seeing the Fire Falls I was determined to see Yosemite covered in snow. While there was snow on the ground, there wasn't SNOW. I returned to Yosemite that same week when snow was forecast but it didn't happen. So on my 3rd trip in 3 weeks I finally got to see and photograph Yosemite with fresh snow. I got up early and entered the Valley in the morning. It was breathtaking. For the first hour I was mostly alone in the park with the exception of the snow plows. It was like a religious experience.
