would you be interested in doing a post about the human design environments? mine is valleys 😛
human design: hardscape v. landscape, the distinction of your environment
this is actually one of those things i keep meaning to post about, and then i forget or push it off. before we dive into the 6 environments, it's important to understand the two distinctions that exist when it comes to human design environments: hardscape vs. landscape.

hardscape: the constructed environment. these are caves, markets, and kitchens, and they're fundamentally concerned with what is immediately around you.
hardscape environments are centered around things like rooms, buildings, objects, people, resources, infrastructure, etc. there's something tactile and controllable about these environments. you're interacting with the things around you and, to some degree, have the ability to shape and manipulate your surroundings.
you create your space.
landscape: your relationship to the broader world. these are mountains, valleys, and shores, and they're more about your relationship to the broader environment.
think things like distance, geography, horizons, flow, elevation, interconnected systems, and the relationship between different spaces. rather than creating or manipulating the environment around you, the environment is something you orient yourself within.
you find your space.
