青蓮院門跡

青蓮院門跡で毎年秋にある「未生流笹岡」の生け花展。

お寺中が花の香りでアロマティック・・。

生け花には興味はないけど、日本独自のアートだから見るのは好き。

四条通に「池坊短期大学」もあるし、華道のほとんどの有名流派は京都にあります。

未生流笹岡は比較的近代の新しい流派だと思う。

BS朝日の「京都ぶらり歴史探訪」に時々出演するイケメン家元も生で見たよ。

手前に大扇、借景に青蓮院の孔雀絵。

ダークで平面的な色合いの中に現れたオフホワイトな百合の花が一気に立体感をかもし出す。

青蓮院門跡は１６世紀、時の門主・尊鎮法親王が頻繁に茶会や花会を催し茶の湯やたて花（生け花の形式のひとつ）を庇護し、生け花の黎明期を支えた由緒ある寺院です。
